AFBF economist breaks down what farmers need to know in the American Relief Act of 2025

Farmers are entering the new year with another Farm Bill Extension along with disaster and economic aid. It is thanks to the American Relief Act of 2025, which was recently passed to avoid a government shutdown.

American Farm Bureau Economist, Betty Resnick spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the major parts of the legislation, how the economic aid payments will be made, and what this all means for pre-acre payments.
