A familiar face returns to lead the USDA, as Tom Vilsack is confirmed as U.S. Secretary of Agriculture.
Dale Moore, the VP of the American Farm Bureau Federation, speaks with RFD-TV on his thoughts on Vilsack’s confirmation, what issues he hopes Vilsack will address, and how they plan on working with the new administration.
“We are excited; we congratulated Secretary Vilsack... We’ve had the pleasure of working with him in a number of different areas, on trade in particular, certainly on the dairy front. Now, he is back at USDA, we know he’s going to hit the ground running, and one thing is for certain, it’s not going to take him long to get up to speed...,” Moore states.
