In the race for the White House in 2020, agriculture was a big topic once again on the third night of the Republican National Convention.
Farm state lawmakers and industry leaders expressed support for President Trump.
Speakers included U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), Scott Dane with the Minnesota Associated Contract Loggers and Truckers.
“We’ve seen new support for our way of life,” Dane said. “Where a strong back and a strong work ethic can build a strong middle class.”
The theme of the night was “American - land of heroes.”
