NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) China follows through on its promise to buy more U.S. soybeans. AgriPulse reports, Chinese companies purchased between 2 and 2.5 million metric tons of soybeans. One million tons will go to COFCO, a Chinese state owned agribusiness. On Friday, Chinese delegates pledged to buy 5 million tons during the two day trade talks in Washington. China previously bought 5 million tons following negotiations in December, marking the first purchase since tariffs were put in place last September.
