American Red Cross shares tips on how producers can help avoid heat stress this summer

Heat advisories and excessive heat warnings are now in effect across the country.
While many are keeping an eye on potential implications for crops and livestock, it is also important to take precautionary steps to protect our farmers.

Sherri McKinney with the American Red Cross spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the impact of heat on human health, ways producers can protect themselves, and what resources are available.
