People across the United States have received suspicious, unsolicited packages of seeds that appear to be coming from China.
Seeds have also been arriving from other reports according to reports. The American Seed Association is coordinating with USDA’s Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service and the state department of agriculture to determine the type and origin of seeds. You are urged to not open the packages or plant the seeds if you have received them and should limit contact with the package. If you have gotten seeds sent to you, you should contact your state plant regulatory official or APHIS State plant health director.
