Yesterday, Christian music singer Amy Grant underwent open-heart surgery to correct a heart condition she’s had since birth.
Grant’s team followed with an update to let fans know that Amy was out of surgery and expected to make a full recovery. In a statement on Facebook on Wednesday, they said,
“Thank you for so many prayers today. Amy is out of surgery and the doctor said it could not have gone better. We would ask for continued prayers over the days, weeks and months to come as she makes a full recovery... xo”
Amy’s step-daughter, Jenny Gill, also shared an Instagram post letting fans know about her step-mother’s condition.
