ABC 15 News reports Mother Nature’s Farm in Gilbert, Arizona is opening its doors and repurposing the 47-acre farm to offer free childcare to families affected by COVID-19.

The farm plans to take in 20 kids from kindergarten to fifth grade via email sign-ups. They are looking for kids that would otherwise be home alone or in other smaller public places.

The farm emphasized they will be disinfecting all surfaces and following all CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of the children.

The farm is hoping others will take their lead and open their doors to families in need.
