Assessing the Damage: Ag industry evaded fertilizer disaster, according to experts

While crews work to assess the damage Hurricane Ian left behind in Florida, experts at StoneX say that the U.S. ag industry evaded disaster when it comes to fertilizer supplies.

Although there is devastation all over the state, StoneX representatives say that the majority of the storm missed the phosphate production facilities.
They say that farmers should not see much of an impact on that front, as a large portion of fertilizer is already in storage for the fall season.
