Back to the drawing board: John Deere workers set to vote on revised employee package

John Deere workers will vote again today on a new employee package. Deere previously said its last offer was the best and final version, but negotiators were forced to resume talks when union workers voted it down.

It contained an immediate 10 percent raise and future raises. Much of the lingering debate seems to hinge on retirement benefits, but details of today’s deal have not been made public.

Deere has been sourcing parts and equipment from overseas during the strike.
