BEEF Act: Lawmakers take action to pushback on EPA water regulations

The EPA’s latest attempt to create more regulations on meat and poultry processing waste-water is getting major pushback.

Two Midwestern Republicans introduced the Banning EPA’s Encroachment of Facilities, BEEF Act to combat the agency.
It would keep the new rules from being finalized and implemented.

Congressman Ron Estes of Kansas says that regulations would shutter small operations due to cost and attack rural communities.
