Leaders at CHS are warning producers to take action now to prevent fuel disruptions as we make our way into the new year.

They say farmers should fill those fuel tanks early to get ahead of strong demand, especially diesel. CHS owns more than 1,400 retail locations across the Midwest and is already seeing diesel growth forecasts for the next three decades.

Right now, the AAA average for a gallon of diesel is $4.69. One year ago, it was $3.57.
