Beyond Meat was just hit with another lawsuit.
It says that the company overstates its protein values and “misleads consumers into believing the product provides equivalent nutritional benefits to those found in traditional meat-based proteins.”
One test showed 16-ounce patties claiming to have 40 percent daily value for protein, actually have just 7 percent.
