Questions remain over eligibility for the sustainable aviation fuel tax credit, as the Biden Administration announced it is delaying the deadline for GREET model modifications.
In response to the missed March 1st deadline, Renewable Fuels Association President and CEO Geoff Cooper expressed disappointment in another delay. He says the marketplace needs certainty and clarity to meet sustainability goals.
Cooper also said investment and innovation in SAF technologies will remain frozen until the model is finalized.
