Biofuel blending obligations have been delayed for seven months

The EPA says that it will release volume obligations for the Renewable Fuels Standard by year’s end.

The agency is seven months late on releasing the information, but in an agenda shared by the EPA shows it will likely be released later this month.

That means the obligation will not be finalized until June of next year.

These standards set the amount of ethanol refiners are required to blend into gasoline for the year.
