Bison grazing halted on two state allotments in Montana

A halt to some bison grazing in Montana.
Two state grazing allotments cannot be used right now, despite being formerly approved.

The state of Montana sent a letter to American Prairie telling the group they cannot graze bison or move forward with the construction, modification, or electrification of fences on the BLM Flat Creek Allotment or the White Rock Allotment, in total that is nearly 30,000 acres.

American Prairie must submit a stocking plan and detail how grazing will be prevented by November 17th.
