Bittersweet Harvest: Georgia pecan producers are having a tough season

After a long and challenging growing season, Georgia pecan producers are working hard to harvest this year’s crop, but the Farm Monitor says producers are not seeing the yields they had hoped for.

Georgia accounts for about one-third of U.S. pecan production.
