Russia’s foreign ministry said on Monday it sees no prospects for extending the Black Sea grain export deal which expires in mid-July.

According to report by Reuters, a new round on talks between Russia and the U.N. are set for Geneva on June 9th. The deal, brokered by Turkey and the U.N. one year ago, allows Ukraine to resume grain exports from its southern ports, which had been blocked by Russia since the start of the war.

The most recent extension of the deal came in mid-May, and is set to expire on July 17th. Russia has repeatedly threatened to quit the deal unless obstacles are removed for its own exports.
