Bluegrass State’s Brit Taylor is showing her rural roots with her new album, Kentucky Blue

Brit Taylor is a Kentucky native who is now making a name for herself as a singer-songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee. She recently made her Grand Ole Opry debut with the release of her sophomore album, Kentucky Blue.

She stopped by Roy Rogers Studio to talk with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender about her Opry debut, her journey from Kentucky to Nashville to pursue music, and what is was like working with big names on her album.

She also stuck around to perform the title track, “Kentucky Blue.”
