Britain’s National Farmers Union calls for tariffs on eggs, dairy, grains, and horticultural products from the European Union. The group says a no-deal Brexit would be a disaster for U.K farmers, partly because their products will face heavy import tariffs in the European Union.
The NFU is urging the government to revise the current tariff schedule to lessen the damage from Brexit. Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, is still negotiating a deal with the EU but he’s committed to leaving with or without, a deal.
