In some form or fashion, farmers’ markets are being directly impacted by the pandemic.
Buy Fresh, Buy Local Nebraska is a program helping connect consumers to farmers. Buy Fresh, Buy Local is a national program that is a member-based education and marketing program.
“We are the only kind of statewide marketing program for local food and farms, so we are here to connect withe eaters with the good food that is being grown on Nebraska soil,” program coordinator Skylar Falter said.
The Nebraska chapter has existed for more than a decade and was created by farmers, for farmers.
