Calls to promote U.S. ag goods overseas

The Coalition to Promote U.S. Agricultural Exports is encouraging Congress to do, as their name suggests, promote U.S. farm goods overseas.

In a letter to the House and Senate Ag Committees, the Coalition asks for $255 million dollars for ag trade promotion and facilitation, apportioned under the Farm Bill.

The group says that studies show these public-private programs provide a rate of return that far exceeds their public expense.
