“I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
My heart to greater loyalty,
My hands to larger service,
and my health to better living,
for my club, my community, my country, and my world.”
The 4-H pledge, recited by more than 6 million youth across the United States, instills within the group’s members the conviction that they can contribute and learn. October 2–6, 2017 is National 4-H week. 4-Hers all across the United States are celebrating relevant life skills learned through various programs and conferences as they participate at the county, state, and national levels.
