Chinese officials to travel to Washington on Jan. 13
China’s trade delegation plans to arrive in Washington D.C. on Jan. 13 to sign the phase one trade agreement with the United States.
The news was reported by the South China Morning Post and it has not yet been officially announced who would be in each delegation. Chinese Vice Premier Liu He is expected to lead the Chinese delegation.
The signing of the deal would officially increase agriculture purchases by China.
President Trump announced last week that the deal would be signed on Jan. 15
