Christensen Farms donated a total of $15,000 to food banks in 16 communities across the Midwest.
The organization worked with the banks to provide pork certificates for those in need.
“At Christensen Farms, we are proud to serve the noble purpose of providing safe, nutritious pork to families across the country,” says Amber Portner, Christensen Farms communications manager. “It is our hope that this donation will help provide families in the communities we operate, a delicious pork meal this holiday season.”
Food banks in Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois and Iowa were the beneficiaries.
