Christian musician TobyMac lost his oldest son Truett earlier in the week.
According to The Tenneseean, Truett died at home in the Nashville area either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. He was 21-years-old and an aspiring Christian rapper. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
TobyMac, 55, has been active in the Christian music scene since 1987. He has won seven Grammys and charted 20 solo singles on the Billboard Christian list. Last year, he released a song entitled ‘Scars’ about his relationship with Truett.
