Some mountain bikers in Montana a had a close call with a bear, as captured in a video posted yesterday by Montana Knife Company. The video, which, according to the post was taken in or near Whitefish, MT, shows two mountain bikers riding down a rugged trail. A black bear appears between the two and begins pursuing the lead biker down the steep hill.
For the Montana Knife Company, the video (which according to comments may have been captured a year or two ago), represents a selling point for their product, giving adventurers reason for pause before heading out into the wilderness without any means of defense – especially at a time when hungry bears are coming out of hibernation!
