#CMAFest26 | Sammy Arriaga talks about his Cuban heritage and the culture of Spanish music

During the first part of June, around 100,000 country music fans hit Nashville, Tennessee, to see some of the brightest new stars and legendary acts.

Sammy Arriaga is a Miami, Florida native and first-generation Cuban American artist, known for fusing his Latin roots with country music through distinct instrumentation, melodic phrasing, and authentic storytelling.

He sat down to talk to us about his roots, the beauty of being bilingual, and his Left My Heart In Texas tour.
