Colbie Caillat Announces Duets Album, This Time Around, out August 29

NASHVILLE, TN (July 21, 2025) - 5X GRAMMY nominee Colbie Caillat is back with her most collaborative and heartfelt project yet, This Time Around. The new duets album features reimagined versions of her greatest hits alongside brand-new original songs and one cover, all performed with an impressive lineup of guest artists and longtime friends. The album celebrates the enduring charm of her songwriting while introducing fresh creative partnerships across country, pop, and soul. Out August 29 via Blue Jean Baby Records, the album is now available to pre-save HERE.

Billboard exclusively revealed the track list today, highlighting fan favorites like RIAA-certified 6X Platinum “Bubbly,” 2X Platinum “Fallin’ For You,” and 4X Platinum “Lucky,” now re-recorded as duets with acclaimed artists such as Amos Lee, Maren Morris, and Jason Mraz, as well as original material that showcases Caillat’s signature warmth and lyrical honesty. Jimmy Robbins and Eric Arjes produced all 12 tracks.

Caillat shared with Billboard of the project, “I’ve wanted to revisit some of my older singles for years, but never really carved out the time. My voice has matured a lot since I recorded them in my early 20s, and so has my production style and musical taste. Making them duets felt like a fun way to reimagine the songs and bring in fresh energy through collaborations with some of my favorite artists.”

Caillat also announced today that “Live Without” featuring Maddie and Tae will be available for this Friday, July 25 in advance of album release.

“Writing ‘Live Without’ was a really emotional experience for all of us,” adds Caillat. “It’s about that turning point when you finally realize someone you thought you needed is actually the one thing holding you back. Collaborating with Liz, Eric, Jimmy - and having Maddie & Tae bring their harmonies and heart to it - made it feel so real and powerful. We wanted to capture that feeling of happiness post-breakup instead of heartbreak.”
