Cold temperatures hit Canada’s prairies

Farmers on the Canadian prairies woke up to frost and cold temperatures this morning.

Host of RealAg Radio, Shaun Haney speaks with RFD-TV on the cold conditions and if there was any damage to the crops, as well as some tips farmers need to know. “Parts of Alberta definitely didn’t experience some of the lows; although, yesterday there was some snow on the more western side of the prairies...,” Haney notes. “This morning, in southern Saskatchewan and into Manitoba temperatures as low as 10 Celsius... It’s a pretty concerning morning and growers are going to want to be evaluating some of that potential frost damage.”
