“Our nation was built on farmers and soldiers, and often [at] times they were one in the same.”
Ryan Pace grew up with farming in his blood and at 19 years old he joined the military. After deployment in Iraq, Pace settled down in Arkansas in 2005. According to Pace, farmers and the military have a few traits in common: you have to be courageous, you have to want to serve others, and you have to be ready for a challenge.
Pace’s farm is Wholly Cow Farms and is a grass fed, Angus operation. The beef from his farm is marketed under the Farmer Veteran Coalition’s Homegrown by Heroes Program. He is also the Location Manager for Greenway Equipment.
