Inflation continues to rise. This month’s Consumer Price Index shows a 0.4 percent jump in February, after a rise of 0.3 percent in January.
The report shows over the last year, all items have risen 3.2 percent. Shelter and gasoline were the largest contributors, making up nearly 60 percent on the rise. However, food costs saw no increase.
Last month’s Consumer Price Index ticked up by 0.3 percent.
