Countdown to Convention: Clare Dunn Talks New Music and her FFA Roots

Dunn reflects on growing up in rural Colorado and the influence FFA still has on her career.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD-TV News) — Singer-songwriter Clare Dunn grew up on her family’s ranch in southeast Colorado, where her rural roots and time in FFA helped shape her music and work ethic.

Dunn joined us on Tuesday’s Market Day Report for RFD-TV’s Countdown to Convention presented by Culver’s.

In her conversation with RFD News, Dunn reflected on the role FFA played in building her confidence and her appreciation for agricultural advocacy. She says even growing up in rural America, she saw how removed some young people had become from agriculture and believes FFA can help bridge that gap.

Dunn’s agricultural advocacy will also take her to North Dakota on Oct. 24, where she will speak and perform at the Independent Beef Association of North Dakota’s 21st Annual Convention.

Dunn also has new music on the way, with her single “Blue Collar Man” expected in the coming weeks and a new record planned for early next year.
