Countdown to Convention: Kansas FFA Advisor Finds His Way Back to the Classroom

Cade Fiske shares how his time in FFA shaped his path to becoming an agriculture teacher.

ESKRIDGE, Kan. (RFD-TV) — Thousands of FFA members are preparing to travel to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention, where students and educators will gather for the annual event.

Mission Valley High School agriculture educator and FFA advisor Cade Fiske joined us on Tuesday’s Market Day Report as part of RFD-TV’s Countdown to Convention, presented by Culver’s.

In his conversation with RFD-TV, Fiske discussed how his own FFA experience eventually led him back to the organization as an agriculture teacher. He initially studied agricultural business in college before realizing he wanted to stay involved with FFA and pursue a career in the classroom.

Fiske also talked about his growing presence on TikTok, where he shares his experiences as an ag teacher and uses the platform to highlight agricultural education.

Fiske’s students will also compete in the national forestry contest at convention before turning their attention back to CDEs and leadership development activities in Kansas.
