An American soldier named Austin wanted to do something special for his wife and because he was deployed in Qatar, he enlisted the help of Brad Paisley.
Austin sent Paisley a message detailing how his wife, Amanda, was a big fan and asked the country star to jump on a Zoom call with him to surprise her.
“Oh. My. God,” Amanda, who was in Little Rock at the time, says when she sees Paisley on the screen. Amanda mentions to the singer that her family has a dog named Paisley, and that he was featured in the seven-year anniversary video she made for Austin.
“I can’t thank you enough for what you do for this country,” Paisley says at the end of the call. “Before long we’ll meet in person and it’ll be great.”
Austin is supposed to return home in early October.
