People everywhere might be excited for the 2020 crawfish season, but these restaurants, producers, and processors from Louisiana are being hit by low prices.
Gerard Frey, a crawfish farmer, said that the amount he is catching is great, however, the low price for crawfish has already caused a significant decrease in income. It is still early into the season which means things are likely to turn for the better; crawfish sales did double last year.
