Crop diseases hits Wisconsin

Crop disease issues hit the Badger State.

University of Wisconsin Extension field crop pathologist, Dr. Damon Smith states that more samples are coming into their lab with corn tar spot.

As for soybeans, they are seeing some cases of white mold in the northern third to the state.

While it is likely too late to spray fungicide, he says that growers should note where the disease is located for future crop planning, since it tends to return.
