Del Nose and his wife Becky Nose put their hearts and souls into competing against the perennial powerhouses University of Montana Western and Montana State University. The 2016-17 year was a remarkable one for the Northwest College Rodeo Team. The men earned more than 6,000 points to win the region, and finished fourth in the nation. Nose was voted “Coach of the Year” after the team’s success. Nose and his team will be headed to the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming June 11th-17th.
There was a barrel racing qualifier for The American Rodeo this weekend in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Winning first was Ivy Hurst of Springer, Oklahoma on “Hall of Famer” and she earned over $1,800.
