Demand for immigrant labor is growing but they are getting older with less younger workers entering the field

Demand for migrant farm workers grew 65% between 2017 and 2022. That is according to a new report that underscores the importance of the H-2A Work Visa Program.

Steve Hubbard with the American Immigration Council spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the report’s main findings, how the status of immigrant labor will impact the ag and food supply chain, and what needs to happen to address the labor shortage.
