There is an encouraging sign for the ag economy as global demand for equipment remains high.
Claas says the demand for farm machinery is almost setting records, with farmers upgrading their technology to increase production. With high commodity prices, farmers in Europe have had good income so they are spending more, despite high energy, fertilizer and seed prices.
Demand has also been strong in the Americas, China and Australia, but Claas expects it to drop later this year.
