EPA reverses course and says it agrees with court decision over RFS mismanagement

The new EPA reversed course and now says it agrees with the federal court decision regarding small refinery exemptions to the Renewable Fuel Standard.

Monday was the deadline for the agency to respond to the U.S. Supreme Court over whether the Biden administration would back the previous administration’s view on exemptions.

The Senate has not yet confirmed Biden’s pick for EPA but agency officials say that they reviewed the material and agree the Trump administration mismanaged the RFS program.
