The environmental protection agency approves $6 million dollars to study harmful chemicals known as P-FAS. In recent years, the chemical has been found water supplies in cities and on livestock farms.
P-FAS is found in water and heat resistant products like non-stick pans, and food containers, and is the main ingredient in fire fighting foams. Dairy producers near a military base believe the chemicals polluted groundwater.
