The American Farm Bureau Federation calls on Congress to extend some key tax provisions.
More than 60 other organizations joined them in the request, which would help biofuels, craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
The tax credits are set to expire at the end of the year, unless Congress takes action.
The Bureau notes that if these do lapse it could impact hiring, job retention, and business investment. Their letter to Washington reiterated the importance of extending these provisions as a means of economic recovery.
