As USDA finalizes the regulations relating to hemp, our delegates have called for slight revisions there that we think will improve the program
Delegates voted to approve higher THC levels. The current USDA policy sets levels at 0.3%, but farmers want the limit raised to 1%. Plus, producers want to increase the window of time farmers are allowed to conduct THC testing, from 15 days to 45.
The USDA issued interim hemp regulations last fall. The comment period on the final rule closes January 29th.
