Farm CPA: Don’t be surprised if you can’t defer all your crop insurance proceeds

Many farmers facing drought this year plan on collecting crop insurance and will be allowed to defer those proceeds.
However, in many cases, they cannot defer all of it.

Farm CPA, Paul Neiffer spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on details on how to report it for taxes, if they can defer all of it next year, and how producers should plan for the year’s end.
