2 News Tulsa reports a Tulsa farmer is seeking answers after he says someone killed two of his cows and left a third barely breathing in a drive-by shooting.

According to the local Sheriff’s office, a driver pulled up to Roger Pitts’ fence and began shooting.

Seeing the injured and killed animals was difficult for Pitts to handle.

“Having to drag those dead animals away, and I just sat on my tractor and I literally cried, because this was senseless,” Pitts said. “It takes somebody with a cold heart to do something like that.”

Pitts lost $5,000 and his calf lost its mother.

Investigators say they have surveillance video and are following leads.

The family is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
