Farmers National Company on the high demand for farm real estate

Both U.S. farmers and investors are looking for ag land to purchase. As buying interest continues to pick up, fewer farms are popping up for sale on the market.

Farmers National Company’s Randy Dickhut speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the latest trends he is seeing, the contributing factors for the rise in demand, and the impact it is having.

According to Dickhut on the farmer side, the rise in demand for land is due to high grain prices and record amounts of government assistance. As for the individual, or first-time ag land buyer, they are looking for a safe, long-term investment that could easily be rented out.
