We’re officially in National FFA Convention Month, which means our Countdown to Convention is underway. Curt Blades, Senior Vice President with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, shares why investing in FFA is an investment in the future of agriculture. AEM has has been providing support for FFA for over 50 years, because the ag equipment and technology industry needs young people with the kind of experience – both leadership experience and hands-on experience – which FFA uniquely provides.
Blades says that FFA provides an excellent proving ground for students to be well equipped for careers. Moreover, he affirms that, whether the FFA students he interacts with go on to be future workers for or potential customers of AEM, the relationships formed are going to be valuable ones for years and years to come.
