First Qualifier of RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN 2015
10 teams advance to Semifinals from USTRC Open Qualifier held at Midwest Regional Finals in Mulvane, Kansas
Omaha, Neb., (May 29, 2014) – The first qualifier of RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN Presented by Polaris RANGER 2015 was held at the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, KS. United States Team Roping Championship’s (USTRC) Midwest Regional Finals began with the Open Division and 37 teams entered into THE AMERICAN qualifier.
The team of Adam Rose of Willard, MO and Billie Jack Saebens of Nowata, OK took first place with a time of 26.54 seconds on four steers, earning $4,626. Rose and Saebens earned a qualification to RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN Semifinals along with the other top 9 teams.
The next USTRC qualifier will be held June 6, 2014 in San Angelo, TX at the West Texas Championships. Visit www.ustrc.com for membership and entry information.
RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN Presented by Polaris RANGER will be held March 1, 2015 at Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium. Tickets range in price from $20 to $150 and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com starting June 2, 2014.
