Foundation Food Group in hot water again
The Georgia poultry plant where workers died due to a chemical leak is under investigation again.
OSHA is looking into reports of an ammonia release that occurred in March at Foundation Food Group in Gainesville.
In January, a liquid nitrogen leak killed six workers. The fire department responded to a possible ammonia leak in March but says it found no actionable levels of ammonia.
A month prior, during a routine fire inspection, they found exit doors blocked by equipment. An advocacy group tipped off OSHA to the possible ammonia leak.
